About Sewa Foundation

Sewa Foundation is a registered NGO (Reg. No. 1006/1997-98) committed to environmental protection and empowerment of the downtrodden. The speciality of this organization is to serve humanity especially the underprivileged sections of the society by providing a pollution-free and freely available source of energy. And help our society where everyone has food and shelter.

Sewa Foundation is a health and development social organization, devoted to restoring health, hope and dignity of people. We work for the upliftment of the society by helping the needy people. We have started with various health care programs for people affected by leprosy, tuberculosis, malaria, HIV/AIDS, blindness and other health conditions exacerbated by stigma and social discrimination. The mission of Sewa Foundation is to ensure universal primary education for every poor child. We act as a medium between the needy and the prospective Philanthropists, in the areas of Education, Health, Clothing, Nutrition, Rural Development, Senior Citizen Help, Woman & Child Care, etc.

Role of Board Members

  • To advise & recommend to the Chamber to accomplish objectives of
    the JESDC.
  • To play important role for the improvement of Educational Entrepreneurial Leadership qualities as the Mentor.
  • To participate in various activities of the JESDC as the Speaker, Moderator, Keynote Speaker and other activities.
  • To represent JESDC at various platform at National & International Level.
  • To attend various debate, round-table and interactive meetings on various Business TV Channels on behalf of JESDC.
  • To lead or be the member of Expert Committees or Sub-Committees.
  • To share thoughts and articles for JESDC/SEWA e-Connect Magazine.
  • To encourage Entrepreneurs to become member of the SEWA Foundation to take advantage of the support services
  • To recommend Corporate, MNCs, FIS and other Agencies to SEWA Foundation’s activities as the Sponsor.
  • To present on various issues and problems of the Educational or Social Sectors at appropriate Government Authorities and Agencies.
  • The member will not be responsible for any legal or financial complications / obligations / implications of Foundation.
